How to File Complaint in the Union Bank of India Online

Union Bank of India is one of the biggest public-sector banks in India. After its incorporation with Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank, which came into effect on 1 April 2020, the amalgamated entity suits the fourth largest bank in terms of branch network and fifth-highest in terms of business.

UBI now has about 9500 branches after the amalgamation. Four of these are abroad in Hong Kong, Dubai, Antwerp, and Sydney.

With a bank containing such a huge clientele, it’s apparent that at times there can be glitches here and there. To address the same, the bank has come up with online complaints registrations. Here, we would be stating how you can file your complaint with the bank.

Steps to Lodge Complaint in Union Bank of India Online

Step 1: Go to the online complaint form link https://icmt.unionbankofindia.co.in/icmt/LodgeComplaint.aspx. You can fill this up only if you are a registered account holder of the Union Bank of India.

Enter your Account number and click ‘OK‘.

Step 2: In the next page, you have to select the category and sub-category of your complaint.

You will be given a grievance ID, using which you can later track the process of recording your complaint. Finally, describe your complaint and attach supporting documents, and click on the ‘Lodge complaint‘ button.

Your complaint will be lodged successfully. Your complaint reference number will be generated. Kindly note down the complaint reference number for future reference. Using reference number, you can check union bank of India complaint status online in future.

Credit card users can reach the customer service team to get aids related to credit cards or the analysis of issues linked with credit cards by calling the following numbers: 1800 22 32 22 (toll-free) or 022-40426008 (charged)

If your grievance is not approached by the bank within 30 days, approach the banking ombudsman. He is a senior official designated by the Reserve Bank of India to provide a remedy against deficiency in banking services, as per its scheme launched in 1995.

All registered commercial banks, regional rural banks, and listed primary cooperative banks included under this scheme. Right now, there are 15 ombudsmen, whose posts are established mostly in state capitals.

Their locations and communication details are on the RBl website. The ombudsman attempts to make a legally binding settlement between both the parties within a month. Still, if a settlement is improbable, it will pass a citation after conceding both the parties to present their cases to him.

  • In the year 1989-90 on the opening day of this Rishi Nagar Branch Ujjain being the old and reputed customer of Union Bank , the first FD and first customer was my one month old daughter.Baby Avni.
    This FD was made of Rs 5000 bearing A/c No. 001 .
    At present I am in possession of physical receipt no 001 which is attached with this letter.It was renewed on several dates and the last date of renewal was upto 21/03/2009.
    Now she is married and visits ujjain once in a year.On her last visit in the year 2021 visited Rishi Nagar Branch and made a request for en cashment of this aforesaid FD on 16/09/2021.( copy of that letter is attached.
    Recently again she started her task for encashment of FD and visited the branch 4 times, but in vain.
    Today I along with my daughter Avni visited the branch and they informed me that this FD has been encashed on 05/02/2022.
    We asked them that in which account it has been transferred they are enable to track. and not giving any timeline to revert back.
    My earnest request is to look into the matter as it is bad on the part of the bank to behave or deal with a 35 year old and loyal customer of your esteemed organisation.

  • The same problem I have been facing from last one month the customer care nos not working other nos on website are either not reachable or their is bo response, very careless attitude they hardly care about tor problems

  • Our email complaints to customer care are not even acknowledged, let alone solving this issue. Grievance booking portal always shows 'invalid request. Try later' Very worst service in customer care.

  • Customer care phone no’s are not working. The no’s on many occasions are either switched off or not attended. This is not expected. Complaint on the grievance page does not get recorded. I have been trying to contact you unsuccessfully for almost one and a half-day.

  • union bank of India's online grievance portal not working. I have been trying for the last 15 days and after filling in the required particulars and clicking "lodge complaint" getting an "invalid request" message.

  • I have above noted A/c along with 50L deposits in your branch 35-53, Gijohre, Noida. I visited the said branch which runs in the basement and was injured today in the branch when exiting through the staircase which is quite narrow and dark. IN the said branch fire was occurred in April 2021 and the whole premises burnt badly even inhale bed smell every day. It seems Bank runs in an unhygienic atmosphere and customers became ill. Almost Four to Five months have been passed but neither Bank has taken the decision to renovate the premises. It is quite a troublesome job to reach the bank for any transaction. I would like to escalate the issue, which is in very bad condition, to RBI and H.O.
    I hope from authorities to do the needful immediately so that in future such type of problem could not occur.
